Either book your van well in advance or consider a mid week, mid month closing. It doesn´t make a difference for billing purposes as banks and utilities can easily modify your accounts for continuity. An unorthodox date often makes it easier on the lawyers end, as well, in the line-ups for deed searching and other property related finalizations.
