My son needed some medically necessary equipment, which I could not afford ($2500). I tried to go through our insurance carrier, then Medicaid. A friend in NY gave me the phone number for Childrenīs Charity Fund, 1-800-6-HELP-US. I called them, got my application, filled it out and Voila! My son now owns a Rifton Walker, free of charge. I thank God the Childrenīs Charity Fund exists. You must do a lot of legwork, but who said life was easy?
