Most people take showers every day.  Not necessarily us moms.  We tend to do everything for everyone else regardless if that leaves any time for ourselves.  But, if you make it a priority to set aside just 10 minutes to take a shower you will be better prepared for the rest of the day.
Resist the urge to just throw your hair in a ponytail or hat before you walk out the door.  It's important to keep your spirits up just as much as your kids.  Set the alarm for 10 minutes early if you have to and you will start to realize how important taking care of yourself will become.  Once you get into a routine it will be a tough habit to break and you will feel better in the long run.
