February 2, 2007, Newsletter Issue #90: Freezer Fables

Tip of the Week

Stop buying regular groceries at least a month before moving day. Use up what you can, especially from the freezer. Plan on having the large chest or upright freezer(s) empty and ready for defrosting at least 4 days prior to moving. Because these large appliances need at least 24 hours to get back to freezing temperatures, donīt rush out and buy replacement food stuffs the day you move in.
